Teaching perspective-taking skills.

Many students who resent with ADHD, Asperger syndrome, higher verbal autism spectrum diagnoses I have difficulty with perspective-taking skills or understanding others thoughts feelings and intentions.
I use thought bubbles to have a conversation with my students while also teaching them with my thoughts may be as they’re talking because social communication requires us to both interpret somebody’s words and think about their thoughts simultaneously.

Perspective-taking as one of the foundational skills that students with social learning challenges do not develop intuitively to varying degrees.
